DNet has evolved greatly since then, especially with the introduction of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), which has revolutionised the way people communicate on the internet. Digital Networking still retains a distinct edge over the rest of the field due to its advanced interconnectivity and digital technology, but has been challenged recently by the likes of Verizon FiOS and AT&T U-verse.
